RCMP in Drumheller are looking for a male suspect who broke to a man's home and sexually assaulted him last week.
At about 10 p.m. on January 10, police were called to a home in Drumheller after receiving a call of a reported break in and sexual assault.
Police say that an unknown male suspect knocked on the victim's door, asking to use the phone.
When the man opened his door, the suspect forced his way in and sexually assaulted him, leaving him with minor injuries.
The suspect is described as:
- approximately 5'10"
- seen wearing blue jeans, a green sweater, and a light blue baseball cap
- a black balaclava was covering his face
A subsequent investigation revealed that the suspect likely knocked on a number of doors in the apartment complex with the same story in the days leading up to the incident.
So far, there are no reports of any other incidents at the building.
