A single vehicle collision between a car and a tree has claimed the life of a 20-year-old male driver.
The crash occurred just before 2:00 a.m. Sunday morning on Varsity Estates Dr. N.W. near the intersection of Varsity Estates View N.W.
The driver, the lone occupant of the vehicle, was pronounced dead at the scene. The man’s identity has not been released as officers attempt to notify the next of kin.
The vehicle's speed is believed to have been a contributing factor in the crash.
