Friday looks to be the start of a milder few days, but that cold is coming back...

It's warming up again for Friday!

It will be chilly to kick it off, with a wind chill of -9, and some fog patches are possible in the morning.

We will get above freezing in the afternoon:

The next three days will be mild and above normal (normal in Calgary is -1).

An arctic air mass will creep toward us on Monday.

The temperature will dip into the minus double digits early next week.

There is also the chance of a couple of centimetres of snow Monday night to Tuesday.

Ottawa has sold its stake in Air Canada: sources

Two senior federal government sources have confirmed to CTV News that the federal government has sold its stake in Air Canada. During the COVID-19 pandemic in 2021, the government purchased a six per cent stake in the airline for $500 million as part of a bailout package.
