Highways 93 and 95 reopen near Radium following late morning crash
According to Drive BC, sections of Highway 93 and Highway 95 were closed in both directions following an incident near Radium. The incident occurred shortly before noon.
A single lane of each highway reopened to alternating traffic shortly after 4:00 p.m. All lanes of the highways were reopened by 4:45 p.m.
Officials with STARS Air Ambulance confirm a crew was dispatched at 11:51 a.m. following a two vehicle crash reportedly involving mass casualties. Patients from the scene of the crash were transported by ground to the Invermere Hospital.
STARS airlifted one patient from the Invermere Hospital to the Foothills Medical Centre. The age, gender and condition of the patient has not been confirmed.
RCMP members remain on scene at the crash site and continue to investigate the collision.
