The world's largest rodent has arrived at the Calgary Zoo.

The two capybaras will call the South American pavilion home after arriving from the Buffalo Zoo in New York.

The rodents have slightly webbed feet, no tail, are about the size of a very large dog and weigh up to 64 kg (140 lbs).

The female capybara is named Adali; the male capybara is named Pakhi.

The capybara is a herbivore and primarily eats grasses.
