Calgary has another millionaire thanks to a SCRATCH ‘N WIN lottery ticket.
It’s the second time in two weeks that a Calgarian has won $1 Million on the game.
Manjit Singh went to the Bow Trail Husky Market at 3824 Bow Trail SW to buy some tickets and picked out two SET FOR LIFE tickets.
He took them home and when he scratched the tickets he matched three symbols on the second ticket.
“I was really, really shocked!” said Singh.
He checked the ticket at the store and was given the option of an annuity prize of $1,000 a week for 25 years or a one-time $1 Million prize.
Singh chose the $1 Million prize and says he will invest the money to ensure he is set for life.
Lottery officials say that another city resident scratched a million-dollar windfall just last week on a $100 MILLION EXTRAVAGANZA ticket.
