**UPDATE: 35-year-old Wayne Runner received a four year sentence in April 2019 after pleading guilty to manslaughter. With consideration for time served, he is scheduled to spend two more years in prison**

A second-degree murder charge has been laid against the sibling of a man who was stabbed to death at a northeast area home last week.

Emergency crews were called to a home on Rundlehorn Terrace last Thursday at about 1:00 a.m. for reports of a man in medical distress.

EMS declared the man dead at the scene and police believe an argument between him and his brother escalated into a deadly altercation.

The victim has been identified as 29-year-old Cory Runner and his brother, Wayne Runner, 34 is now charged with second-degree murder.
