An autopsy into the death of 40-year-old Garland Curtis has found the Airdrie man’s death was a homicide.

RCMP officers discovered Curtis’ lifeless body in an Airdrie home in the 100 block of Mountain Circle S.E. on the afternoon of Saturday, January 12, while responding to a check on welfare call.

The Medical Examiner has not released the cause of Curtis’ death.

Investigators continue to search for Garland Curtis’ vehicle. 

The vehicle is described as:

  • A 1994 Purple Saturn SL2 sedan
  • Alberta License Plate EGF 166
  • The rear quarter panel on the driver's side has been repainted and is a different shade of purple than the rest of the car
