Comedian and talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres, is coming to Calgary for a moderated Q & A session at the Saddledome in April and tickets go on sale on Wednesday.

The Ellen DeGeneres Show has been on the air since 2003 and has won a total of 59 Daytime Emmy Awards during that time.

Tickets are expected to be snapped up quickly and some Calgarians say Ellen brings a powerful message with her.

“I think she’s just a real force of positivity and celebrates good things happening in families and people all around the world,” said Grace Walker.

“She’s a great cultural icon. She really promotes diversity and inclusion. I think it’s awesome,” said Michelle Hogaboam. “I think that she’s going to be really thought provoking, yet engaging and inspiring and funny.”

‘A Conversation with Ellen DeGeneres’ will take place on April 21st at the Scotiabank Saddledome.

Tickets go on sale at 10:00 a.m. on March 21st on Ticketmaster. Click HERE for details.
