**Terry Vogt is no longer with CTV News as of the fall of 2021. He is enjoying retirement**

Terry Vogt has been on the air since 1972, telling your stories in Lethbridge, Southern Alberta and Southeastern B.C.

Terry was born and raised in Picture Butte, Alberta, and in 2013 was inducted to the Palliser School District Wall of Fame, for Outstanding Achievement in Broadcast Journalism.

He has also been named a Distinguished Alumni of Lethbridge College in recognition of his decades of service through his work in radio and television.

Lethbridge-based Terry continues to serve as a member of Lethbridge College’s Digital Communications and Media Advisory Committee, and has also shared his expertise with the Broadcasting Advisory Committee at SAIT. 

He was Promotions Director for the 2012 Alberta Summer Games in Lethbridge.

Terry’s coverage on local issues has helped CTV Lethbridge earn national recognition, including a 1989  RTDNA Ron Laidlaw Award for continuing coverage of cults and teen suicides in Lethbridge. He was also winner of an Iris Award in 1992, for coverage of a bird rescue story, and under his guidance, CTV  Lethbridge was honoured in 2012 with a Bert Cannings Award, for the Best Newscast Small Market in both the Prairies and National categories.

In 2015, Terry was presented with an Outstanding in Media award, by Southwest Service and Tourism.

From covering floods and forest fires, to crime, agricultural issues, government and human interest stories, Terry has been intimately involved in the Southern Alberta community for more than 45 years.
