A research team from the University of Calgary is in Saskatchewan gathering witness testimony and surveillance video of last week's fireball.

Alan Hildebrand from the Canadian Fireball Reporting Centre is talking to people in the Marsden, Saskatchewan area.

Video from hotels and gas stations in the meteor's path shows the bright object lighting up the sky as it passes overhead.

The team has narrowed the search to an area east of Lloydminster near the Alberta border.

So far, no meteorites have been found on the ground.
