Thirty-third Avenue S.W. was shut down early Thursday evening due to a water main break.
Calgary police confirmed that traffic on northbound Crowchild Trail is being diverted away from 33 Avenue due to the break, which took place just before 5 p.m.
“Please avoid the area around Crowchild Trail and 33 Ave. S.W.,” the police X feed posted.
“Please use alternate routes.”
It's the same stretch of road that had a similar problem three weeks ago that took days to fix.
