Calgary Police have arrested two more people in connection with the death of Ryan Lane, whose remains were found last week.

The pair of arrests follows news of a man taken into custody on Wednesday for the same crime.

CTV News has learned that Lane’s ex-girlfriend, Sheena Rempel, the mother of his young daughter, is one of the suspects.

Rempel’s husband Tim and his brother Wil are also suspects and are in custody.

Police have not confirmed any of the identities of the people they’ve arrested as no one has yet been formally charged in the death.

Lane, 24, was last seen in the early morning hours of Tuesday, February 7, 2012, near the 5200 block of Country Hills Boulevard N.W.

He disappeared hours of being re-united with his young daughter, after receiving an anonymous call from someone claiming they could help him with an ongoing custody dispute.

Police are not releasing how, where or when the skeletal remains were found for investigative reasons but will say they believe Lane met with foul play.
