Calgary Police will be conducting a re-enactment in the hopes of gathering information that will lead them to the arrest of two men who assaulted a man in his northwest home.

At about 1:40 p.m. on February 12, a man was in the basement of his home in the 4000 block of Viceroy Dr. N.W. when he heard a noise upstairs.

When he came up to investigate, he was attacked by two men.

In the ensuing struggle, the man managed to hold onto one of the suspects while the other fled.

A short time later, the second suspect broke free and fled.

Nothing was stolen from the home, but the victim received minor injuries as a result of the assault.

Police believe both suspects fled in a car that was left parked in Vallance Crescent N.W.

The first suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • between 20 to 30 years old
  • 5’7”
  • approx. 165 lbs
  • slim build
  • short, light-coloured hair

He was seen wearing a dark blue jacket, jeans, and a baseball cap.

The second suspect is described as:

  • Caucasian
  • between 20 to 30 years old
  • 5’7”
  • dark complexion
  • heavy build

He was wearing a black jacket, jeans, and a baseball hat.

Police have released a sketch of one of the suspects involved in the incident.
