One man is dead following a suspected stabbing in the city’s northeast.
Police responded to a home in the 0 to 100 block of Taradale Close N.E. Saturday morning following a 911 hangup call indicating a stabbing had occurred at the address. According to police, the call was received just before 6:00 a.m.
Officers located a male in the residence suffering from an apparent stab wound to his upper body.
EMS transported the victim to hospital where he succumbed to his injuries.
The CPS Homicide Unit has deemed the man’s death to be suspicious and an investigation is underway.
The identity of the victim has not been released.
