Calgary police are asking for your help as they investigate a weekend hit and run collision that injured a pedestrian.

It happened around 2:55 a.m. on Sunday, April 22 as two men were crossing the intersection at 2 Street and 15 Avenue Southwest.

Police say a 50-year-old man was struck by a southbound vehicle and the victim was thrown across the road and the vehicle drove away without stopping.

The victim was transported to hospital with serious injuries.

The search for the vehicle continues and police believe it would have significant damage to the front, hood and windshield.
