It's a major blow to Calgary's gang culture. Police have arrested 14 suspected gang members and seized millions of dollars in drugs, weapons and property.
The arrests and one hundred criminal charges are the result of a year-long investigation into one gang. 11 men between 21 to 30 years old, and two women were also arrested.
The list of times seized is staggering; 10 firearms including 5 semi-automatic handguns and hundreds of rounds of ammunition, two bullet-proof vests, night vision equipment, brass knuckles, pepper spray, a taser, butterfly knives as well as a significant amount of cocaine, ecstasy, magic mushrooms and marijuana.
In addition, gang investigators have seized or are in the process of seizing four homes, worth approximately two-million dollars and 16 vehicles.
