Police respond to bomb threat at downtown building

Police were called out to investigate a report of a bomb at a building in the downtown core on Tuesday morning.

Emergency crews were called to a building in the 700 block of 5^th Avenue S.W. at about 11:30 a.m.

A number of people had evacuated the building when officers arrived and they were allowed to return just after noon.

CPS officials confirm the bomb threat was a false alarm.
