RCMP is still on scene investigating a crash north of Calgary that has claimed the life of one driver.
Police say the crash happened at about 1:15 a.m., 14 km west of Carstairs.
A pickup was eastbound on Hwy 580 when it ran off the road into the ditch and then struck a bridge.
The driver, a 45-year-old man from Vulcan, died at the scene.
The cause of the crash is under investigation.
