The Calgary Stampeders have the only real mascot in the CFL and Quick Six is Only in Calgary.
On a ranch just north of the city, Toby the quarter horse is saddled up for a stroll through the pasture.
Toby and Bubba are used to bring in the cows and have a pretty relaxed life.
But there's more to Toby than meets the eye.
He is also known to Stamps fans as Quick Six, the touchdown horse.
Former Stampede Queen and Miss Calgary, Karyn Drake has a job any rider would love.
Drake leads the charge down the east sideline when the team scores a major.
“He's sort of paying attention to the game and he's got one ear forward or back and he's watching. So he knows what's happening, ha ha. He’s like hmmm," said Drake.
The touchdown tandem is off as soon as a TD is scored and the tradition dates back decades.
For Quick Six every run is just another day at the office but for Drake it's an honour. “It's awesome. I love my job. It’s the best job I think.”
Quick Six is now 20 years old and Drake says he still has a couple more seasons ahead of him.
She is keeping her eyes open for another white quarter horse with the same great personality that can be trained for the job.
