A resident of a southwest Calgary condo returned home from a trip to India to find a scaly stowaway had hitched a ride in his luggage.
The man was unpacking his bags at his home in the 2500 block of Fish Creek Blvd. S.W., when he noticed a half metre long brown snake slithering across his living room floor.
Calgary Fire and an animal control company came in to help and searched for more than four hours without success.
The company will continue the search and set traps to find the elusive reptile.
