For Red Deer's Femke van den Bosch a trip to Spruce Meadows can be a harrowing ordeal but she thinks she'll have better overall results this summer because of her previous experience at the famous venue.

The 22-year-old competed at the National in early June and will be back for the North American in July.

Her best result at the National was a 5th in the ATCO Structures and Logistics Double Slalom 1.50 m with Senorita.

Her horse Tom Tom came up with a 12th place showing in the Spectra Energy Cup 1.60 m and he is always ready for Spruce Meadows.

Professional show jumping may not be van den Bosch's career of the future though as she believes training horses is where her future lies.
