Mounties say a 22-year-old man faces several charges in connection with a pair of shootings in Airdrie this past summer.

On June 5, shots were fired at a home in the southwest community of Windsong.

Then, on July 29, two homes in Luxstone were struck by gunfire.

No one was injured in either shooting.

In the six months since the incidents, RCMP said they identified a suspect and made an arrest.

He is charged with a series of firearms offences and breaches of court orders.

The accused is expected in the Alberta Court of Justice in Cochrane on Dec. 17.
