A High River man will serve an additional eight years and three months for the horrific assaults he committed on an infant.
Dale Kunath pleaded guilty in December, 2012 to two counts of aggravated assault for attacks on his girlfriend's six-week-old son.
In June of 2010, EMS transported the infant to hospital with severe injuries to his feet and genitals. The injuries were so serious the child may never fully recover.
Kunath says the attack on the defenseless baby stemmed from the fact he was angry with the child's mother.
Kunath has been sentenced to a total of ten years in prison including time served.
