Another immigration hearing is underway for Jackie Tran.

Canada Border Service Agency is now trying to deport the 26-year-old on organized crime grounds.

On Wednesday morning, a member of the gang unit with the Calgary Police Service took the stand. Sgt. Gavin Walker said, "Mr. Tran admitted when there was an attempt on his life February 2, 2005, that it was because of his affiliation with known gang members."

But Tran says Walker has it wrong.

While on the stand Wednesday afternoon, Tran said, "I don't recall ever saying I was a member of an organized crime group."

The admissibility hearing continues on Thursday.

Tran will not be able to appeal the decision if convicted.
