Traffic on a highway near CrossIron Mills is being rerouted after a truck blew a tire while hauling a house on Wednesday evening.

The truck was moving a big farm house down Highway 566 at about 5:00 p.m. and was stopped by a flat tire after it drove over the railway tracks.

The crossing arms had been removed in anticipation of the move to allow the truck room to maneuver and the crew believes there may have been something on the ground that punctured the tire.

Traffic is being rerouted around the wide-load and the road is expected to remain closed until mid-morning on Thursday.
