Police have arrested and charged two people following the firing of shots into a home in the southeast community of Dover on Sunday morning.
Shortly after 6:00 a.m., officers responded to the 4300 block of Doverwood Pl. S.E. following reports of a loud argument in the street followed by the sound of gunshots. CPS members discovered a bullet hole in the backdoor of a residence and a startled family inside the home. No injuries have been reported.
Police believe the shooting was targeted.
Officers scoured the neighbourhood and located a suspect vehicle near the intersection of Doverwood Pl. and 41 St. S.E.
Police have arrested and charged two men in connection to the shooting and have seized a sawed-off shotgun.
21-year-old Levi Mitchell faces charges of:
- Mischief to Property
- Carrying a Concealed Victim
- Careless Use of a Firearm
- Possess Firearm without Being a Holder of a License
- Possession of Prohibited Firearm with Ammuniton
20-year-old Levin Hill has been charged with:
- Careless Use of a Firearm
- Possess Firearm without Being a Holder of License
- Possession of Prohibited Firearm with Ammunition
