Two men were taken to Foothills Hospital on Sunday morning after they were hurt in two separate pedestrian crashes in southwest Calgary.

The first crash took place at around 3:00 a.m. near the intersection of 2 Street and 15 Avenue S.W.

Officials say an adult male was taken to hospital with multiple serious injuries, but is considered to be in stable, non--life threatening condition.

Emergency crews were also called to another incident, in the area of 5 Street and 5 Avenue at approximately 9:00 a.m. Another adult male was taken to Foothills with minor injuries.

Police say it appears that the vehicle involved in the first incident fled the scene but they don't have description of it at this time.
