A mostly cloudy night for Calgary and southern Alberta, but a frontal system bringing heavy snow to northern B.C. makes its way across the Rockies. The snow begins in west-central parts of the province Saturday night and pushes east through Sunday. Most of the snow stays to northern Alberta, but central areas like Red Deer to Cornoation may see some light flurries early Sunday morning. By Sunday afternoon, temperatures peak above zero across southern Alberta, while central regions get close to the freezing mark. The mild weather only gets warmer into the new week.
