A westerly flow will boost Friday's temperatures to double digits Friday afternoon. Meanwhile, a low in northern BC will move across central Alberta and into southern Saskatchewan Friday night, dragging a cold front behind it. That will leave us with cooler weather for Halloween day. It won't be bitterly cold, but trick-or-treaters will have to find a way to augment their costumes with warm clothing. Afterward, an upper ridge of high pressure moves over our region, giving us a longer lasting period of double digit warmth.
