A woman is in hospital after being attacked by a bull mastiff.
The attack happened around 4:30 p.m. in the community of Temple.
Officials say the bull mastiff was running loose when it attacked the woman and a smaller dog.
The woman, in her 30's, has a number of bites but her injuries are not believed to be too serious.
CTV News has learned this is the second time this dog has been involved in a biting incident.
The animal is in quarantine at Animal Services.
The owner has been fined $850 on Friday afternoon and agreed to have the dog put down.
