A man has been sent to hospital in serious but stable condition after he suffered head injuries when he was struck by a vehicle late Thursday night.
At just before 11 p.m., a 45-year-old man was crossing 16 Avenue at 4 Street N.E. with two other people.
The group wasn’t in a crosswalk at the time.
Two of the people managed to get through the traffic, but the third man was hit by an eastbound vehicle.
He was rushed to hospital soon afterward.
The Traffic Unit is investigating, but police say charges are unlikely.
