Reduced visibility and slick conditions have resulted in several crashes on the QEII Highway, north of Airdrie, and RCMP are asking motorists to avoid the area.
Emergency crews and tow trucks responded to several Sunday morning crashes on the highway between Airdrie and Olds.
If travel cannot be delayed, RCMP ask drivers to ensure their headlights are on, to drive for the conditions and to exercise caution.
