Calgary police are asking for public assistance as they attempt to locate a 54-year-old man who has been missing for an undetermined amount of time.

On Thursday morning, officers responded to an undisclosed location near the Glenmore Reservoir after a citizen reported a vehicle which they believed had been abandoned for several days.

A police investigation determined the vehicle belonged to 54-year-old Kiet Le who had not been heard from for some time.

Le is described as:

  • An Asian male
  • 170 cm (5’7”) tall
  • 54 kg (119 lbs)
  • Black hair
  • Brown eyes

Search and rescue crews were deployed to the area on Friday. A search of both the water and the banks of the reservoir are being conducted.
