The eleventh annual ArtaWEARness event is not your average fashion show as the runway outfits are wearable art.

The Art Awareness fashion show features designs from students at the Alberta College of Art and Design.

Eleven wearable pieces of art will be on display involving different materials, concepts and inspirations.  This year’s pieces feature material ranging from pages of romance novels to

“It really does showcase the diverse range of what we’re doing at the school,” says Kristyn Don Wozniewich, the coordinator of ArtaWEARness.  “We have everything from glass blowers, fiber artists, to jewelry artists, just the whole smorgasbord of people doing it.  It's a really good way to see what we do at the college in a different kind of context.”
