It was a soggy ending to a long walk.
Hundreds of people spent the weekend walking 100 kilometres to raise money for The Kidney Foundation of Canada.
They began their walk at the Millarville race track, walked through Kananaskis Country and then to Calgary where they were met by family and friends at Canada Olympic Park.
Each participant raised at least 22 hundred dollars and that money goes toward kidney disease research and support programs.
Kidney disease is one of the 10 leading causes of death in Canada and one in ten Canadians has kidney disease.
This event raised over 500 thousand dollars.
