A child is recovering after a frightening experience at a Calgary pool Friday night.
Emergency crews were called to the Westside Rec Centre after reports that a boy was unconscious in the pool.
When they arrived, the six-year-old had regained consciousness thanks to the help of lifeguards.
The child was taken to hospital as a precaution.
