A severe thunderstorm warning was issued for Calgary and parts of southern Alberta on Tuesday afternoon and a number of streets were flooded as a result.
Environment Canada issued the warning at about 3:00 p.m. and that was changed to a watch at about 4:30.
The agency said conditions were right for the development of heavy rainfall, small hail and brief funnel clouds.
