The man found guilty of murdering a teenager outside a Hawkwood home has received a life sentence.

On Wednesday, 20-year-old Pavon Flores was sentenced to life with no chance of parole for 12 years for the second-degree murder of Rigel Cole.

In August of 2006, 18-year-old Cole was stabbed to death outside a home on Hawkwood Manor Bay N.W.

Cole and a friend were walking to a convenience store when the passed by a house party. A fight broke out on the front lawn and Cole was stabbed in the neck.
