DI Calgary is in urgent need of steel toes boots size 8-12. Work boots of dispaced are flooded downtown. DI also needs transportation help such as bus tickets, buses etc. Please bring these items to 4804 Edmonton Trail , Calgary and ask for Venisha."
Stoney Nakoda First Nation: Donation of baby formula, baby food and hygiene/essential supplies for adults and children. Items may be dropped off at the Morley High School.
Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter: Organization displaced by flooding. Requests for financial donations.
Siksika First Nation: Donations of household goods, clothing, baby items, and more. Call Siksika Emergency Team 403-734-3999 or drop off items at the Deerfoot Sportsplex
Bow Valley and Region - Community Clean Up Effort: Creating a volunteer group to assist with flood clean up, donation of food and clothing, and offering shelter to the displaced in the Canmore region
Samaritan's Purse: From Samaritan's Purse website Thank you for volunteering to assist in the Alberta flood recovery efforts. As people return to their homes, we will require volunteers to help in the clean-up and recovery of flooded homes and basic operations for volunteer deployment. Please be advised that we will only deploy volunteers once needs assessments and safety concerns have been addressed.
