A jury has found the second man accused in the beating death of Mark Mariani guilty of second-degree murder.

Robert Reitmeier was one of two men accused of kicking and stomping Mariani to death in a northwest parking lot in October of 2010.

Mariani was attacked while returning to his car at a strip mall along 16 Avenue.

Reitmeier and another man, Tyler Sturrup, were each charged with second-degree murder.

Sturrup pleaded guilty last spring and is serving a life sentence.

The eleven member jury started deliberations on Tuesday and came back with a guilty verdict late Wednesday night.
