The body of a 78-year-old woman was found in her Lethbridge area home on the weekend and police are treating her death as suspicious.
Police responded to a home on Normandy Road South at about 2:00 p.m. Sunday after family members found the woman dead inside and called 911.
The woman’s identity is not being released at this time.
Police continue to investigate and say an autopsy has been scheduled in Calgary to determine a cause of death.
