Three more suspicious fires in Norfolk County, 12 total since November

Emergency crews in Norfolk County were on the scene of three structure fires Wednesday morning that are all being called suspicious.

According to police, crews were called to fires at an abandoned house, an abandoned barn, and an active gas station.

“We understand how frustrating this is and how scary it is for the community. We are doing everything we can to find these individuals and hold them accountable,” said Const. Randi Crawford in a video posted on social media.

According to police, a person was seen Wednesday morning, running on Norfolk County Highway 24, and is described as a white man, approximately 30 years old, very thin and was wearing a hoodie and a face covering.

There have now been 12 suspicious fires in Norfolk County since November.
