Beginning at 58 Ave. S.W. and continuing for nearly two blocks south, all lanes of southbound Macleod Trail and the two westernmost lanes of northbound Macleod Trail will be closed until 3:00 p.m. Sunday.
The temporary closure of the section of Macleod Trail near Chinook Centre is underway to facilitate utility work in the area.
Traffic is being detoured to neighbouring roads.
