Police are asking for the public’s help in locating a 28-year-old man wanted on death threat and weapon related warrants.

Sunday evening, at approximately 9:45, Michael Anthony Ghostkeeper is alleged to have confronted a woman while yielding a shotgun in the 200 block of Village Terrace S.W.  Police say the incident was not random, and Ghostkeeper and the woman knew each other.

Ghostkeeper fired the shotgun into the air before speeding away from the scene in a vehicle.

The vehicle was located a short time later near a pub in the 1300 block of 17 Ave. S.W.  Police believe Ghostkeeper had been in Morgan’s Pub but fled prior to the arrival of officers.

Ghostkeeper remains on the lam and is wanted on warrants for:

  • Threats to kill
  • Discharging a firearm
  • Possessing a weapon dangerous to the public

Police believe Ghostkeeper remains armed and consider the 28-year-old to be dangerous.  The public is urged not to approach Ghostkeeper.

Anyone with information on Ghostkeeper’s whereabouts is asked to contact the Calgary Police Service, 403-266-1234, or tips can be made anonymously through Crime Stoppers
