A Calgary man has been charged with sex-related incidents at two city libraries.

On Friday morning, a man approached a 15-year-old girl at the Thornhill Library on Centre Street in the northwest. He then allegedly groped her near the back of the library. The girl's mother stopped the assault and several people restrained the man until police arrived.

Carpenter has also been charged with another sexual incident that happened at the Crowfoot library on Nose Hill Drive in the northwest.

On Wednesday, October 29th, a woman was studying in the library when she noticed a man staring at her. He was looking at her through a bookshelf while allegedly committing an indecent act.

Carpenter has been charged with sexual assault, assault with a weapon and an indecent act in a public place.
