Taber/Vauxhall RCMP says that a 28-year-old man has died in an accident that occurred while he was performing maintenance on some farming equipment.
At 9:09 p.m. on October 2, police responded to the scene of a farm machinery accident near the Town of Vauxhall.
They say the man was believed to have been performing maintenance on a potato harvester when he was caught in the roller section of the machine.
Emergency crews managed to free the man from the machine, but he died of his injuries shortly afterward.
His name has not been released.
