Two 18 year olds are now charged after a weekend murder in the town of Magrath, 32 kilometres south of Lethbridge. RCMP were called to a possible stabbing on 2nd street around 2:00 am Saturday.

31 year old Lyle Madge died en route to Lethbridge Regional Hospital. A 25 year old man recieved serious head injuries but will survive.

Sunday night RCMP released the names of the two men now charged. Kristian Ramberg is charged with assault with a weapon. Addison Wakefield has been charged with murder.

News of the arrests came on the same night Lyle Madge's loved ones held a vigil to remember him. Dozens gathered in Lethbridge Sunday night to say goodbye and celebrate Madge's spirit. His sister struggles to understand how this could happen in the small, tight knit community.

"Lyle worked in nightclubs in Vancouver with gangs in them and he never got hurt and then he comes here to Magrath of all places, a small town, just walking down the street." Says Tanya Madge.

Madge's mother Gillian Capewell remembers a son full of life. "He was just one of those kids full of life, did great hat dances, break dances, back flips, he kept me hopping my whole life. I wish he'd keep me hopping for another 30 years or so" Says Capewell.

An autopsy is scheduled for Monday at the Calgary Medical Examiner's Office.
