Calgary police are investigating after they received several reports about a suspicious man who was spotted by a southeast school in recent weeks.
The man was seen near the Glenmore Christian School at 16520 24 St. S.W., during lunchtime and recess time on Thursday, January 31 and Friday, February 1.
Police say that the man has not made contact with any of the school’s students but say his behaviour is unusual and suspicious.
Patrols have been increased in the area and officers from District 8 are working closely with officials from the school to determine the man’s motives.
The man is described as:
- Caucasian
- Approximately 40 years old
- 178 cm or 5’10” tall
- Slim build
- Scruffy appearance with grey hair and beard, and has been seen wearing orange work boots and a black baggy coat
