Three people are facing a series of drugs and weapons related charges following a bust at a home in southeast Calgary where they seized several items, including a deadly pen gun.

On March 5, police executed a search warrant on a home in the 4500 block of 17 Ave. S.E.

They seized various quantities of methadone and heroin, along with several weapons.

Ammunition, knives, brass knuckles, and other drug paraphernalia was seized.

Police also found a loaded, .22 calibre pen gun. The weapon, which is easily concealed and disguised, is the third pen gun they’ve seized since the beginning of 2012.

Collin Dean Oxtoby, 39, Rachelle Mae Harkiss, 35, and Vivian Tracey Curran, 44, who were all inside the home at the time of the bust, are charged with a total of 23 drug and weapons-related offences.

Investigators are working with units from the National Weapons Enforcement Support Teams to see if the weapons they seized have been used in any other crime.
